LIVE A REAL ADVENTURE WITH OUR DINOSAURS!

Until July 31st, discover the dinosaurs in the WWF Affiliated Oasis of Castel Romano!Made of fiberglass glass, the models on display in the Oasis represent four species of famous dinosaurs.

The absolute star is the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which lived about 68 million years ago, 5 meters high by 10 meters long, a carnivorous predator with exceptional eyesight, known for its jaws (today comparable only to those of the alligator) more than for its claws.

The most peaceful Stiracosaurus - second in fame only to the Triceratops - is a specimen found in 1913, quadruped and herbivore, solitary, about 5 meters long x 1.5 tons in weight.

The third dinosaur, is the Parasaurolophus, characterized by its long tubular crest, which was used in visual communication for the recognition of similar specimens. The Prasaurolophus was about 9.5 meters long x 3 tons in weight.

The fourth specimen is the Deinonyco - literally "terrible claw" - was a carnivorous predator, agile and intelligent, small in size. In fact, it measured only 3.2 meters long x 70 kg in weight.

Visitors can explore the Affiliated WWF Oasis of Castel Romano and meet the dinosaurs every day from 9 am to sunset.
Every weekend it is possible to book guided tours and participate in free workshops.
